Fanhe Greenhouse Technology Co., Ltd., in partnership with Korea Agricultural Infrastructure Corporation (KAIC), has successfully concluded their joint smart greenhouse initiative after 22 months of cross-border collaboration.

The ¥580 million project in Jeollanam-do, South Korea integrates China's cost-effective greenhouse structures with Korea's proprietary semiconductor-grade LED grow lights, achieving 92% energy efficiency. Key deliverables include:

  • 48 hybrid greenhouses (total 35 hectares) with AI-driven microclimate control

  • Bilingual monitoring system supporting Korean/Chinese agricultural databases

  • First-ever deployment of Fanhe's solar-powered humidity regulators in temperate climates

KAIC President Kim Min-jun remarked, "This fusion of Chinese scale and Korean precision sets new benchmarks for Asia's protected agriculture." The facility will cultivate premium strawberries and ginseng for export markets, projected to boost regional output by 28%.

Fanhe's VP Wang Lei highlighted the project's strategic value: "Our technology adaptation for Korean winters proves ready for Northeast Asian expansion." Both parties have initiated talks for Phase 2 in Gyeonggi Province.
